Erasmus University · Rotterdam, Netherlands · 2024
About the project
A Face for Erasmus
Erasmus University wanted a recognizable public figure to represent the university: an AI avatar of its namesake, the philosopher Desiderius Erasmus, to appear at events and openings.
An AI Philosopher
Broken Egg built an AI avatar visitors can talk with, structured around three areas: the life of Erasmus, questions about the university, and a planned database of student theses.
A Campus Personality
The avatar became a recognizable face for the university around Rotterdam, bringing its namesake to life for events and visitors.
