About the project
Teaching the Teachers
inHolland saw an opportunity to bring its tourism and management teachers up to date with immersive technology, for two reasons: the tourism sector itself is shifting towards AR guides and new tools, and teachers were looking for fresh ways to inspire students beyond books and screens. This is exactly where Broken Egg's expertise helps, teaching the teachers.
An Intensive Learning Day
Broken Egg gathered teachers from all five inHolland campuses for a single, intensive learning day. It opened with keynotes to bring everyone up to speed, then moved straight into hacking: working in groups with 20 virtual reality (VR) headsets and no-code tools, teachers built their own AR or VR experience around a real challenge, how museums can personalize the visit for each visitor, and pitched it at the end of the day.
Ready to Inspire
Teachers left knowing how to use the tools, seeing the creative potential for their sector, and ready to bring it into their own classrooms. Just as valuable, the day brought colleagues from different campuses and disciplines together to share knowledge and collaborate.
